I AM registered disabled and at Warrington Hospital we have disabled bays.

We now have to pay. This is not my complaint.

It’s the positioning and signposting of the machines that gets my goat.

The times I have parked near the department while visiting only to find the machine out of order. It really annoys me, Recently I had to visit the gastro dept.

I went to the nearest machine, out of order, then the next machine which was out of order.

By the time I found a machine that was working at the main entrance, I was absolutely knackered.

Then the buttons were almost worn out and hardly visible. One of my conditions is Parkinson’s disease and I was so tired my hands were shaking like crazy trying to put my number in.

People in the queue behind me were getting agitated which I can understand.

Then some kind person realised what the problem was and punched the numbers in for me.

I can inform them now if this ever happens again I’ll just go and they can send me as many letters as they like, they won’t get any money.
