WITH regards to Jeremy Craddock’s article about the Beatles playing at the Towers Labour Club (Warrington Guardian, April 6).
With reference to people on the door – I can confirm my father Billy Brinksman was on the door the evening they played there.
He met them and he said they were very forward and had loads of confidence.
It wasn’t long after that concert that they made Love Me Do for Parlaphone.
