IN response to your article concerning Apple Court Nursing Home (Warrington Guardian, March 30).

I have a family member in the home and it is a lovely place where residents are treated like a family.

I visit regularly and at different times throughout the week, including mealtimes, and I can tell you the food is fine.

My mother has never looked better with a regular healthy diet.

Yes the staff do buy treats for residents. That is because they choose to, not because they need to.

There are lots of activities provided such as bingo, games and music and trips out.

I realise that your facts come from a recent CQC report but I fail to see why you only print the negative aspects of it.

The staff in the home are excellent and the care my mother receives is second to none and I know this view is shared by other families who visit the home.

Surely these are the things that matter, not a report from someone who visits for three days?

I and my family would not consider this home to be anything but perfect for our mother and her needs.
