I REFER to the letter from Peter Pool, Warrington Guardian, January 19 regarding the unnecessary road surfacing work completed on roads in Locking Stumps and a response from another reader living in Cinnamon Brow stating the same thing.
Warrington Borough Council is clueless on priorities and how to manage its budgets.
As Mr Pool states there are other roads in far worse state of repair that require urgent attention. Two come to mind, Euclid Avenue and Shadewood Crescent in Grappenhall.
The patchwork of repairs over recent years are beginning to crack and bigger holes are developing but we live in the south and don’t deserve that treatment.
We might as well live in southern Antarctica as far as the council is concerned.
