WELL not only is it the season to be jolly but also to be repetitive.

Last week’s letter (Warrington Guardian, January 5) from A Edwards (Corbyn and Sinn Fein) was almost a carbon copy of one he/she wrote two years ago.

I debunked every false point of that letter and since then the Queen has, several times, met, shook hands and been photographed smiling with the Sinn Fein leader who was also invited to speak at the Warrington Peace Centre.

Also information from government files has revealed that in the 80s Thatcher went cap in hand, while shouting no surrender, to the IRA asking them to end the hunger strike and she would indeed surrender.

Nowadays A Edwards talks for ‘many MPs’ and ‘most Warringtonians’ as well as having an insight into the thoughts of ‘many Labour MPs’ but does not converse with the Queen or any Warringtonians interested in peace.

And then in anticipation of the illusion being shattered A Edwards inserts the get out clause ‘some Labour supporters will no doubt as usual be responding to this letter’.

Well here’s my response and if it is any consolation to A Edwards I also respond to any lies told about the Conservatives.

Lies such as good with the economy, helping the poor and disabled, taxing the rich, the list is endless and I respond to them all.

As Plato said: “One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that that you end up being governed by your inferiors.”

Welcome to Tory Britain.
