FURTHER to the letter about Abba Cars (Warrington Guardian, December 15).
My sister-in-law and I were booked on a tour of Emmerdale in July.
I was to meet her at the coach pick-up point in Warrington necessitating a taxi journey from Winwick.
My sister-in-law travelled to Warrington from Grappenhall.
My taxi failed to arrive at the requested time and despite two phone calls to the Abba office asking when I could expect a car, I was told all the drivers were busy and none were available.
I told them I had to meet a coach and by this time I was running late and my sister-in-law was starting to worry.
I contacted my son and no sooner had he arrived to take me than a taxi turned up at the same time (more than half an hour after the requested time).
Needless to say very angry words were exchanged, the taxi driver was told to clear off and we would not be using Abba Cars again.
They have got far too big for their boots and are treating their customers with utter contempt.
MRS MB ELWELL Winwick
