INSTEAD of cutting services like the libraries and charging for green bin collections, why don’t the councillors set a really good example by taking a cut in their highly overpaid expenses?
At one time people became councillors for the honour of it and because they wanted to serve the town and only claimed expenses when they were out of pocket.
