AS a concerned resident in the Whitecross Road area of Bank Quay, Sankey Green, I am writing this letter to bring to your attention youths who congregate and use illicit substances.
The smell of these things is both horrible and disgusting. It makes myself and others feel ill.
Furthermore, there are children on this estate whom this affects as well as being set a bad example.
The council has been made aware of this and as yet not acted to resolve the problem. Given that the police have limited manpower, it is also difficult for them to resolve this unpleasant behaviour.
I suggest an increased presence of officers which hopefully will deter these youths from causing upset to residents on the estate.
