I AM a citizenship student at Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School and as part of my coursework we have decided to do xenophobia.
I thought it was a recent and interesting topic to do it on and I thought what is a better place to start then in our own country and in our own town after the effects of Brexit.
Brexit has caused a rise in xenophobic comments and attacks.
This shouldn’t happen in our town.
Since the vote to leave the EU the main focus point is on immigrants and as a town we only see the negative side of immigration.
We don’t get the positive action of immigration. They don’t contribute to the workforce of Warrington as much as Liverpool or Manchester so our good town can’t see the positive side.
This had an increase in xenophobia and all I say is it needs to stop now everyone as welcome in our town.
