WE are so lucky here in Warrington, I cannot think of any other major town where we regularly get to witness the full majestic engineering beauty that is the traffic light.
In most places we only briefly interact with these engineering classics.
Here in Warrington you get to sit in the comfort of your vehicle, right up close to the lights and witness the beauty of their full light sequencing, and not just once but three, four, five times before you are likely to move on.
And then you get the opportunity to witness this spectacular all over again about 20 minutes later, 100 yards on from your last light show spectacular.
You will find yourself once again engaged in the beauty of watching these delightful light boxes entertaining you on your so-called ‘journey’ home.
God bless Warrington and its poorly trained light sequencing highway officers for giving us this magical experience nearly every single evening of the week.
Plus on Sundays, you want to try to chance your arm at trying to drive through Stockton Heath.
