Air memories
I AM 88 years old and I lived in Grappenhall until just after the war ended in 1945.
Recently I had reason to remember that Glen Miller visited Burtonwood to entertain the American troops who were stationed there. But I also believe that he visited the park in Warrington for an open air concert.
Are you able to let me know whether I am correct?
Because I ‘think’ I was there.
