I REFER to Dorothy Carter (Warrington Guardian, August 11) regarding the residents of Euclid Avenue being unable to get out on their street to clear the gutters and kerbs of weeds, due to the avenue being used as a rat run.
Let me tell you Dorothy the situation is the same on the village side of Chester Road.
We have the school run going through the avenues every day.
There is a constant flow of people using the Post Office whose traffic has tripled since the closure of Bridge Lane, Knutsford Road and Thelwall Post Office.
Yet we still manage to keep the gutters and kerbs free of weeds.
You see Dorothy it is just a matter of choosing the right time to do the right thing and take pride in where you live.
