I AM sure readers were worried about the doctors’ strike (Warrington Guardian, April 28) which our hard-working junior doctors have been forced into by the actions of a belligerent health secretary – Jeremy Hunt.
Two hundred miles away in London he is trying to score political points pretending he is going to introduce a ‘seven-day NHS’.
Well my wife is a nurse and she already works one in three weekends, as do most doctors.
We already have a seven-day NHS.
These stupid London politicians are causing chaos up here.
David Cameron needs to kick out our hapless health secretary and replace him with someone who can negotiate.
Our South Warrington MP David Mowat is a Tory – ask him to tell David Cameron to sort it out. I did.
