THE true scale of immigration to Great Britain is deliberately being kept secret by the Government.

Top civil servants, led by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs boss Lin Homer, are refusing to publish figures that could reveal up to 1.3 million extra migrants living in the UK.

This is a huge gap.

The Office For National Statistics(ONS) shows that 904,000 EU migrants have arrived in the UK since June 2010 but over the same period, 2.2 million National Insurance numbers have been issued to EU migrants.

They could then claim benefits.

The ONS has admitted that the numbers ‘do not add up’.

HMRC has been refusing to answer Freedom of Information requests from, among others, the Information Commissioner and Members of Parliament.

Officially 257,000 EU nationals arrived last year but 630,000 EU nationals were given National Insurance numbers enabling them to claim benefits.

The most important issue of the referendum, immigration, cannot be properly debated and voted upon if the public is being blocked from getting the facts.
