ON December 10, I parked at Cockhedge Centre car park.

I did see the notices, I did enter my registration number and I did pay my £4 into the ticket machine.

I did not receive a ticket or my money back.

There were more people having the same problems as I, in particular an extremely distressed lady who had entered her £4 twice without a ticket.

I wrote to Parking Eye explaining but received a ‘penalty’ notice anyway.

I filled in the appeal pro-forma explaining but my explanation was not accepted and I received another demand for £100.

From other letters published in the Warrington Guardian I can see Parking Eye does not concern itself with the validity of the appeal and is not prepared to check its records.

It simply sends a standard letter and a ‘fine’ in all cases.

This company must be challenged and I for one intend to do that.
