I WAS at the Tesco Superstore on Winwick Road on Wednesday, December 23 at about 9am.

I withdrew money from the ATM machine and as I was walking off about five yards or so from the machine when I felt a tap on my left shoulder.

With a clenched fist I turned around as I thought I was about to be robbed.

But there was a nice young woman smiling and showing me a £10 note saying I had left this in the ATM.

I thanked her but seeing as I am 78 and was feeling a bit nervous, I couldn’t think straight so just wanted to write a letter in the hope that she sees it and I would like to thank her once again for the kindness and honesty she showed.
