Old outdated document gives Peel Ports all the rights
CLLR Laurence Murphy is right about Peel Ports (Warrington Guardian, October 22).
The council has no powers to deal with this - only what we can negotiate on a good will basis.
This is because of an old outdated document giving Peel Ports all the rights. This, as Nick Bent pointed out some time ago, can only be changed at parliament level.
