WHILE sitting in McDonald’s on Winwick Road I was amazed at the number of drivers who stopped in the yellow box outside the fire station.
I can only assume that the reason for this is:
1. The drivers were not bothered that they had stopped in the box.
2. They were working on the theory that no fire engine would use the entrance or exit.
3. They had no idea what the yellow box meant.
