CONCERNING the party at Rylands Rec organised by Warrington Young Labour to celebrate the victory of Jeremy Corbyn.

Again A Edwards manages to twist the facts on Corbyn to suit the extreme right wing rhetoric of Conservative central office who are emailing a national army of keyboard warriors daily, arming them with dodgy statistics and soundbites, asking them to write in to their local newspapers and bombard the UK with disinformation concerning any opposition to their inhumane and degrading policies.

That A Edwards can criticise Corbyn for saying he ‘condemns all bombings everywhere’ while ignoring the actions of Thatcher in glorifying the atrocities of Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet is contemptible.

I personally have no problem with anyone having a party anywhere for any reason providing it is within the law.

I’m sure A Edwards didn’t incur any expense through this celebration unlike the general public who were forced to pay for Thatcher’s state funeral whether they liked her or not – and most didn’t.

As Mark Twain once said: “It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.”

A mantra that every Tory policy and every letter A Edwards has written to the Warrington Guardian is based on.
