TOP marks to the Warrington Guardian for trying to find out about the fares rise at Network Warrington.
Transport in Warrington is going to price itself out of the market.
When I was employed in Chester for a company the best way to travel was by public transport.
After many years of a new monopoly, Chester City Transport started to have major problems with an ageing fleet, manpower shortages, poor timetable, arrival times or not turning up at all.
High fares and deregulation closed their near monopoly.
In Chester the many operator is now GHA, a company which now travels in Warrington.
I don’t think Network Warrington can carry on much longer and staying silent does not help.
Unless it cuts staff and fares, it is finished.
