I AM writing to you as chairman of the Lewis Carroll Centre at Daresbury to enquire if your columnist Pete Magill enjoyed the exhibition of books, art and photography that was on display at the Lewis Carroll Centre up to last Sunday?
Mr Magill earlier on in the year was quick to criticise the fact that nothing had been done locally to commemorate the 150 years of the publication of Alice in Wonderland.
I invited him to come to our exhibition and I wondered what he thought of our effort – or did he bother to come?
IRENE RUTTER
Chairman, Lewis Carroll Centre
