I AM a parent of a 12-year-old pupil that attends Penketh High School and gets to school on the school bus.
She usually gets on at the bus stop at Lodge Lane in Bewsey.
Having looked at the school website we are now informed that the bus will no longer be stopping anywhere in Bewsey.
Instead my 12-year-old daughter is expected to walk from Bewsey to either Harrison Square in Dallam or the Mad Hatter at Whitecross.
This news is absolutely absurd as soon it will be pitch black when my daughter leaves to catch the bus and instead of walking just around the corner, she will have to walk to Dallam or Whitecross.
Why should my daughter be put at risk in this way having to walk this far and having to cross high risk roads in the dark?
