I HAVE had a parking fine for parking on Riverside Retail Park in Warrington.
I was not the driver but as the registered keeper of the vehicle they have sent the charge to myself.
I exceeded my stay by 10 minutes and I have been charged £160.
Although this is a free car park, I cannot see how they can justify this.
Also what financial loss has the landowner faced with me parking here?
As a result I will not be visiting the shops on this car park and I want to warn other people about this.
It is a lot of money and people need to be careful as they are monitoring the site with cameras.
