I AM writing to you to raise awareness of the Hunting Act amendment that was proposed by the Government.
As a Warrington resident and long term anti-hunt supporter I am appalled to see that Warrington South MP David Mowat is not taking his constituents’ views on board.
When the amendment was publicised I contacted my MP Helen Jones and she promptly replied that she would vote to stop any amendments.
I believe this is not the case with Warrington South residents who have not received replies from Mr Mowat.
I wonder how many of his voters actually know his views are to support changes to the Hunting Act?
This almost certainly does not represent the views of the majority of his Warrington South constituents. I urge people to contact Mr Mowat and ask why he is not listening to people.
