ME and five friends were sat having a picnic in Bank Park.

We were sat on picnic blankets with our six babies lying on the blankets and in a pop up tent. We also had five buggies around us.

Around an hour into being there a massive lawnmower driven by a gardener employed by the council started driving up and down the grass right next to us.

At first we were just surprised why out of the whole park, which seemed empty apart from where we were sat, he decided to mow the grass so close to us.

Then as he kept going we got scared as he kept mowing up and down right around us and where all our babies were laid on the blankets.

We motioned to him to try to make him realise what he was doing but he sort of just smirked and carried on circling us and mowing the grass.

The size of the lawnmower was like a tractor and we were petrified he was going to run over us so we started to pack up and ran to the edge of the park to get away from him.

It felt like he was doing it on purpose as he saw us looking scared and packing up and leaving but yet he continued and started following us to where we were stood packing our things away properly.

I reported this to the council more than a month ago, sending them a video and photos, but have still not heard back.
