WHY when cyclists don their Lycra suits, attach their rear facing cameras, rear facing mirrors and LED flashing lights do they eject their brains?

Today in the peak of rush hour traffic on Chester Road, Walton, among vehicles travelling at high speed, two idiots on bicycles were toiling up the hill in the traffic when the council has spent hundreds of thousands of pounds building a dedicated cycleway.

These idiots should be prosecuted for putting their lives, and those of others, in danger.

Two weeks ago I was stood at a red light when a Lycra-clad idiot complete with camera overtook me on my nearside and rode straight across the junction. When I finally caught up with him I asked ‘when is a red light not a red light’. He replied ‘when you’re on a road run’.

Cycling is now very popular but we need to be prosecuting the idiots who are dragging the pastime into disrepute.
