IN regards to the demolition of the former Mr Smith’s nightclub after the recent fire.
I am sure due to the age of the building there would have been asbestos in the building.
Did all the buildings after demolition go as asbestos waste which is required by HSE legislation? And what precautions were taken to keep the asbestos contained?
Legislation says unless you have definitive proof there there was no asbestos within the building then all the material from the building has to be tested to prove this or all of the demolition arising have to be disposed of as asbestos waste.
Is this the case with the former nightclub?
