I WAS an ABC Minor at the Lyric, Howdon, Wallsend-on-Tyne in late 40s and early 50s.
We sang the song too.
As I remember it, it went: “We are the boys and girls well known as minors of the ABC and every Saturday all line up to see the films we like and shout aloud with glee.
“We love to laugh and have a singsong, just a happy crowd are we.
We’re all pals together; we’re minors of the ABC!”
