I WOULD like to express many thanks to Warrington Borough Council for raising the spirits of the borough in the early, still dark, days of spring by their wonderful, imaginative planting of thousands and thousands of bulbs.
The bulbs, often planted so that one species succeeded another, fed the soul, brought a smile to the face and lifted the spirit.
Their contribution to the mental good health of the town’s population must have been immense.
I’m hoping that we are again going to be fed the same positive contribution to our wellbeing by the wild flower meadows in the summer.
