IS the blue badge system for disabled people no longer any use in Warrington after the hospital has started to charge an extortionate amount for parking?

My wife is a blue badge holder and we now have to find £3 to park at the hospital even in disabled spaces.

Who can honestly say that they visit Warrington Hospital and can be in and out inside 30 minutes (the length of free parking time allowed).

After the first half hour the charge is £3 for up to five hours.

Why that much when the normal person is only there for about an hour when visiting?

Is this just another ploy to make even more money out of pensioners and disabled people?

I think it’s a certain way to stop people from parking in the hospital car parks.
