I HAVE recently had a spell in Warrington Hospital and could not fault the treatment I received.

I called an ambulance at 10pm and by 11pm I had seen a doctor.

By 8:30am the following day I was admitted to A7. The staff were excellent.

The visiting hours were a bit funny from 3pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 7pm which were a bit close together, leaving a short time for a meal, medication etc.

TV was expensive (not the hospital’s fault) but I did enjoy hospital radio when someone was talking about old Warrington covering the parks, dance, theatres and factories.

A very frightening experience made very comfortable by excellent staff from the cleaners to the consultants.
