THE latest example of Labour’s economical competence.

Rachael Reeves who used to be at the heart of Labour’s treasury team, says Labour will scrap the ‘bedroom tax’ and use the savings for a £175million ‘Scotland Cares’ fund to tackle poverty.

Obviously trying to persuade Scots to vote Labour instead of SNP.

It should be obvious even, from Labour’s name for the policy the ‘bedroom tax’ that it actually reduces Government spending.

Therefore scrapping it in fact would not as she thinks save any money, let alone £175 million. On the contrary it would cost over £1billion.

To sum up. With the money she saves by abolishing a tax that brings in money, she’s going to use that money she no longer will have to try to buy votes in Scotland?

Are these the kind of ‘economically competent’ people who want to be let loose to carry on the economic recovery we now have under way?

They left us with the mess in 2010.

Think carefully before you place your ‘X’ !
