I WOULD like to ask why Network Warrington isn’t passing on the fall in fuel prices to its passengers?
The biggest business costs for Network Warrington are fuel and drivers’ wages. Since the drivers haven’t had a pay rise, their costs must be falling.
The latest fares rises in August last year priced a lot of users off the buses.
It’s now time that this disastrous increase was reversed. This is what campaigners said at the time and there is still an ongoing protest on Facebook on the issue.
If Network Warrington won’t pass on fuel savings to passengers, surely they could at least use the savings to restore some of the service cuts that were also imposed last year, particularly after 7pm.
If you would like to support the protest go to facebook.com/ boycottnetworkwton.
