WHILE I sympathise with the people who work for companies who don’t provide sufficient, if any, parking spaces, I do feel these same people have been very fortunate to have been able to park for free on a supermarket car park.
I would have loved to have had that privilege when working in Chester for five years instead of having to pay £5 per day.
Warrington Borough Council, surely you can work together with the local employers who are bringing revenue into the town, to try to resolve this issue?
As it is, these people are now parking on the residential roads, ie Stafford Road, and on the busy junctions of Burgess Avenue with Gainsborough Road, and Boswell Avenue with Burgess Avenue.
These roads are very busy thoroughfares and having to drive down the middle of the road is an accident waiting to happen.
