I FIND it ironic that Patrick Moran, the site owner, accuses the council of wasting money on trying to have the tyre wall removed.
Mr Moran does not give a toss about the people of Warrington or the residents by dumping his tyres on their doorstep.
I dread to think what visitors to our town think when they travel along the A50 and witness this monstrosity.
He has played the planning system for too long and his latest act in reducing the height of the tyre wall in an attempt to make it legal is really taking the mickey.
I am surprised that the council has only relied upon planning law and has not taken enforcement measures under the environment legislation for the tyres are potentially a toxic hazard particularly if they were set alight as the consequences could be catastrophic.
Come on Mr Moran, you call yourself a businessman, well do the decent thing and remove this eyesore which is blighting our daily lives.
