COUNCIL neighbourhood services have made it very clear their feelings for the community of Fearnhead by installing a partition in the community office at the Fearnhead Centre.

The main office has been divided into two parts which has created a cell without sunlight, airflow and visibility problems.

As this is now the main community office it has created a deplorable situation.

The staff in the remaining office also find it extremely unpleasant and intimidating as they are often working alone and have no back up if they are in need.

May I also say that it beggars belief, in this day and age, that people with mobility problems are unable to gain access, unaided, to the building due to the heavily sprung double entry doors.

Surely this is against building regulations!

Perhaps someone from the neighbourhood services would like to comment on this dreadful situation.
