I WISH to say thank you to the three ladies who helped me to my feet when I lost my balance, owing to an ear infection and fell full length on my left hand.
I was winded by the fall and hurt my ribs as I have an artificial left arm. One of the ladies offered to call an ambulance, which I declined as my car was parked in town. A policeman arrived and offered to give me a lift home in his car. I was escorted back to my own car.
After five nights of uncomfortable sleep my arm became noticeably painful and a visit to GP then A & E showed I had broken my stump about an inch from the end of my arm.
It will now be around four plus weeks before I can use the arm again.
The other matter I would like to ask about is the untidy tyres piled up near Kingsway Island.
I seem to remember the council has asked the man responsible to remove these tyres. This person tried to defend his action by saying that he was allowed to keep them in his local area, which is Culcheth.
