I WOULD like to express my anger at certain people travelling on Network Warrington.
Regarding disabled people - there are seats clearly marked for disabled passengers.
I travelled from Latchford to Warrington Hospital on Friday for an appointment.
On the first bus, a schoolgirl in a disabled seat, on the second bus a careworker in a disabled seat.
On my return, two women clearly not disabled, all sat in these seats.
I’m on crutches but nobody would move (very ignorant people).
Why not put a sign near the driver ‘all disabled passengers make your way to the back of the bus and let all able-bodied people sit near the front’.
Will the ignorant people take note then?
There are elderly people who I have noticed get this same treatment .
Able-bodied people, can you read the clearly marked blue sign or are you too tired to walk another five or six feet?
I do feel sorry for you, sorry for being disabled.
