I WAS shopping in Warrington and was disgusted to see the state of the town centre.
Half of the stalls in the market are closed and most of Bridge Street has closed shops.
The extension of the Golden Square has ruined the historic centre of the town.
There is no individuality to the town — it has no independent shops.
You could be in any shopping centre in any town.
Just what are the planners thinking?
It is now a chore to go shopping in Warrington.
