I TOOK my bichon frise for a walk on Orford Park because there are signs clearly stating that all dogs must be on a lead and there is a designated fenced area for owners who want to let their dog off lead.
But while walking my dog on the lead I noticed a few dogs off the lead running free.
One dog came over to my dog and scared her so much she whimpered in fear. When I told the owner that his dog should be on a lead he said others don’t and he was not going to either.
Why put signs up if nobody can enforce it?
I just wanted to walk my dog in a safe environment. I won’t be taking her there again.
