WENT to Cheshire Dogs Home on Saturday morning to drop off some food and toys and ended up handballing pallets of dog food for storage as the reception office was filled with donated food. During the couple of hours I was there I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of people turning up to help and donate.
Just as we were leaving, a 40-foot artic pulled up full of food — just heart-warming.
I would say in the short term they actually might need help with logistics, storage and transport.
Once the dust settles, dogs still need homes and the home probably needs people to offer support and assistance.
