MAY I, through your pages, thank all those concerned in helping my husband who was taken ill while on holiday in Warrington.
Following a very panicky phone call, the paramedic arrived extremely quickly followed by the ambulance.
These young men were not only very capable but reassuring and took my husband to Warrington Hospital CCU unit.
Without exception, all the medical people were so kind and everything was explained clearly.
My husband had pneumonia and had suffered a heart attack.
Once well enough, he was transferred to Liverpool Heart and Chest hospital.
I received phone calls from the Warrington cardiac support team several times, checking on the patient’s progress and allaying my fears.
While I am sure that others have experienced similar trauma and wonderful attention, we thought it was marvellous that we were shown so much respect and care.
All who were concerned in nursing Glyn from Malta deserve the highest accolade.
I do hope this letter will go to print and the paramedic, ambulance crew, doctors and nurses will read it and know how grateful we are.
Thank you all, very much.
Margret and Glyn Fresle Malta
