I WOULD like to know why those petitioning and protesting about the recent fare increase never bothered to attend the regular customer panel meetings organised by the company.
The meetings have been in operation for many years and provide a valuable forum where the public may voice their concerns about the policies being pursued by Network Warrington.
At all meetings senior management are present and the date and venue of upcoming meetings is widely publicised on the buses and website.
It is a shame that those who now seek to disrupt the town centre on a busy Saturday could not have used this medium to expound their views.
The meetings are open to all and I would urge those who are unhappy with their local transport to make use of this very valuable facility where they can interact with senior management face to face. Such an opportunity is not provided by the larger privately owned companies.
