I HAVE just counted more than 35 bins with a contaminated sticker for incorrect use of the recycle bin (mine included).
I try to be a conscientious recycler and ensure that what I do recycle is acceptable, but do you not think that applying a little common sense and warning your council taxpayers that you are about to start rejecting our recycling (perhaps a sticker saying what you can and cannot recycle) would be better than the issues that you are now going to have with full bins and no simple way to empty them?
If you can afford the time and effort in briefing your teams to reject bins, then surely this would have been better placed into warning the public that this is going to happen.
