I AM writing to say that me and my family are simply appalled by Network Warrington.

Not only have they recently changed the routes and staff have come off a strike, they are once again putting up the fares. As a family with no transport of our own, many of whom are mentally and physically disabled, we feel that there is absolutely no need to increase the bus fares.

The fares are certainly not deserving of the treatment given by the staff. I was in a rush to work and not only was my bus more than 20 minutes late, I had been given a single ticket to town when I ordered a return. When I confronted the driver in a perfectly friendly manner, I was told to sit down and shut up. Not only is that extremely demeaning, it was also very embarrassing.

Especially in front of the other customers. It is not the ‘friendly and reliable service’ that is advertised around Warrington.

Quite frankly, I find it ridiculous and it needs to stop.
