ONCE again Woolston Park is blighted by a gipsy encampment.
The bushes surrounding the area are full of rubbish and human excrement.
What do people have to do to stop these unwanted ‘guests’ from driving around the parkland in cars? They are endangering the public, children and animals especially, and have no regard for safety or the law.
An electric cable straddling the road attached to the highways lighting was reported to the council. Their reply – ‘they’re not doing anyone any harm’.
One company manager on the Grange complained to the council.
Their reply – ‘don’t worry, we’ll clean up after them’.
The answer is the gipsies/travellers have human rights. Message for the local authority is this – so do the tax paying residents of this community.
