THE killing of 60 Canada geese at Lingley Mere was a cruel and heartless act.
They created an environment to attract wildlife and then kill it for being there.
Humans do not have a monopoly on the countryside and open spaces, this is home to the wildlife.
There are no excuses, surely with all your resources there was a kinder solution? And perhaps the people who were bitten should not have been so close especially with the goslings being there.
