I WRITE regarding Orford Farm on School Road, Warrington.
Since the original arson attack on March 12, 2012 that destroyed the Grade II listed barn, there have been two subsequent arson attacks on the farmhouse. The latest being on Saturday, March 29.
Despite the three-and-a-half year sentence handed to the two offenders that caused the fire, local youths continue to congregate and cause a nuisance on the site on a daily basis and Warrington Borough Council and the police seem unable to do anything to deter this.
As it been more than two years since the original attack, surely it is high time the site was redeveloped and brought back into use in whatever way, thus preventing a further waste of valuable resources of the fire brigade and police?
