TODAY, the first sunny morning we have had in a while, we went for a walk up to Pestfurlong Hill, the views were lovely, taking in Manchester, Bolton, Oldham and the Cheshire Plain.
And then, at 9.55am it started – bang, bang, bang – before the peace was spoiled.
I wish I could invite the inspector who passed the appeal for the gun club so he could see the effect it had on our dogs and the birds which flew in waves from roosting in the trees.
How was this allowed with so much opposition, and how it can be beneficial to our town?
