I WOULD like to say thank you to the taxi driver from Direct Taxis for his service.
He picked up my gran from our house for her sister’s funeral and wheeled her into the taxi and made sure she was secure.
He then drove her to the church service, waited outside and took her to the crematorium.
Again he waited for her and took her home.
He then went on to just charge her for the journey from the house to the church because ‘she’d had a bad enough day.’ I just thought I’d share this kindness with the people of Warrington because it’s not often it happens.
